Frequently Asked Questions

How much is admission?

Admission ranges between $7 and $18 for the day. The price varies by day of the season based on what is happening that day. Click here to see the full rate list. We also offer season passes which are great for flexibility or if you want to come multiple times.

Are pets allowed?

Well socialized pet dogs are welcome. Pets should be on a leash at all times & owners/parents are responsible for cleaning up after them. We also have one special day for bringing pet dogs to enjoy the sunflower field! This is Dog Day on Sunday, August 22nd.

Can I visit multiple days?

Yes you can! We're offering season passes. This is a great option for photographers or gives you flexibility with the weather. Get season passes here.

What happens if it rains?

We hold the festival rain or shine. A little rain changes the look of the flowers and cools the August heat. Plan ahead and bring your rain gear. Tickets cannot be cancelled due to weather.

I'm a professional photographer, can I schedule photo shoots?

If you have clients we recommend our weekdays as they will be quieter than the festival days. Season passes are great for photographers who would like to bring multiple clients or who want flexibility with their days. You and your clients can purchase tickets on our ticketing page. There is no need to schedule an appointment with our office. Our field covers almost 5 acres and has multiple photo props and many different kinds of flowers. Finding the perfect spot shouldn't be an issue. Please plan to carry your gear to the field. Additional hard-to-move props are not recommended.

How long should I plan to stay?

It's really up to you! If you want to explore the flowers, take lots of pics, try the food, and list to music you could nearly stay all day. If you just have a few hours you can definitely get the experience. If you're not sure when you want to come try a season pass. You'll have the flexibility to come any time and for as long as you like!
